Description:
When he was originally constructed Vi'Roth-IX was likely much more humanoid, but details of his original appearance seem to have been lost in the same event that left him damaged and orphaned. He rebuilt himself from scavenged parts of the destroyed ship he was found on, remaking his appearance into a hacked together amalgamation of mechanical pieces. Wires snake out of his bald head in every direction, making their way down his body. His head, torso, and arms are mostly intact, and still coated in the original, though aged, bioplast skin (making him look like an aging man). His lower torso and legs are completely rebuilt in a four legged, radial design. This gives him greater mobility, and he would have you believe it's an improvement on his original bipedal design, though he is much shorter now (standing just over five feet tall).

History:
Vi'Roth-IX is of unknown origins. He was found stranded in the twisted wreckage of a ship that appears to have been built by an unknown species. His records were badly damaged in whatever event destroyed the ship, to the point that he can't reconstruct the image of his creators or even recall his own original design. After the destruction of the ship his auto-repair protocols came on and he began piecing himself back together using whatever was suitable for the original pieces he couldn't locate. Once he was back in one piece he shut down to conserve power. Eventually a Federation ship stumbled across him and after months of study, he was classified as 'Mostly Harmless' and assigned to work as an engineer. Several years later he was assigned to a ship.
